Hi there, just a short note from the 16 days old me.

Can't really see that well at the moment, but I can hear lots of voices around me. There's Mummy's voice, whom I hear whenever I feel hungry and an Auntie's voice, whom I am usually being held by. There's a boy's voice which I think they call him 'Kor-kor Aidan' and also someone call 'Popo'. There's also a man's voice which I hear every night, think that's Daddy.

Overheard Daddy telling Mummy that I am a very noisy sleeper. Daddy slept in the same room as me for the 1st time over the weekend and he complained he couldn't sleep at all because I was grunting and he woke up a few times to check on me, only to find that my eyes are closed and I was still snoozing away.

Babies' memories are supposed to be very short. I can't remember much. Did hear Mummy comment though, that I am a poor girl because in future I have to deal with something call 'period', just like her. I think this thing must be bothering her quite a bit because I can hear her grumble under her breath occasionally about it.

She also mumbled something about having inherited her eyes, which means I have single eyelids and not double. Not quite sure what difference it makes at this moment, I can't see quite well and I'm trapped at home whole day so am not really meeting many people to begin with.

Talk more soon, when I manage to learn more about the world and the people around me... still sleeping most time of the day. (much to the pleasure of Mummy)

Hello there. I am Amelie Ang and today 25th Nov 2006 is my due-date, as calculated by Mummy's gynae. However, I am in no mood to come out yet.

The only sign of labour Mummy had is having her mucus plug drop out, which I heard her telling her girlfriends. Also caught a muffled remark from Papa, saying how come she has to tell everyone about 'the mucus plug'. Mummy retorted that it is because everyone gets different labour signs so Mummies like to share their stories.

I know Mummy's getting impatient but she's currently busy with Ko-Ko Aidan who is down with bad cough and running nose. In a way, I know they are hoping Ko-ko will recover before I come out or else I may contract his flu as well.

See you guys soon!
